Searching for the perfect Falafel
Shisha Cafe the Lebanese Restaurant in JL. TB Simatupang Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan. (Citos). I was searching for some good Falafel in Jakarta and thought I would give this very attractive restaurant a try. The interior is very much in a 'Thousand and One Nights' vain. The staff were helpful, friendly and suitably attired. I ordered my much desired falafel, humus, and flat bread. Followed by more falafel in a wrap with salad. I pulled most of the 'wrap' off as it was't to my taste. My companion had the Tuna stake with a spicy tomato sauce and french fries (which were cold). The tuna was too dry as it was overcooked but the heavy sauce helped to make it more palatable. The presentation was excellent but disappointed in taste. The falafels that I craved were too moist, hence soft, so the texture was compromised. but overall it tasted fine. The humus and flat bread were good. The ambiance was excellent and the staff professional though I probably won't be returning soon. I'm still searching for my perfect falafel in Jakarta.

Great place to hangout in South Jakarta
I love this place. I usually go here with my friend and just hang around for 2-3 hours. The vibe is good, the staff also nice, and the Shisha also great of course. The price here is mid-range, I cannot say cheap thou. If you like Shisha and want to find a place where you can sit and relax with your friends or colleague, you can choose this one.

Look round at the decor and it will transport you to Arabia. Low tables, heavily cushioned chairs, dim lighting and shisha smoke all serve to complement this oasis of relaxation. I didn't give it 5 stars because their extensive shisha menu is rarely (if ever) fully stocked and their food seems overpriced.
