We booked based on the fantatic reviews and were exceptionally disappointed. We weren't expecting luxury but did expect to have the basics especially a clean room etc. 3 of the 4 rooms had major issues and we didn't actually get to see the 4th room. Two for the rooms had a terrible smell. One room was recleaned and within 20 min the smell had returned. That room had 'Snot' on the wall (refer photo) and very stained bed linen - ironic given the cards in the room that indicate if you mark the linen you will be charged for it. The pillows and pillow cases were more yellow than white. The second room had hair in the bed (refer photo) indicating the linen hadn't been washed or bed hadn't been changed in between guests. This was in the new wing. We were told by staff this wing was less than 2 years old. It certainly did not appear it based on the condition of the rooms and the corridor floor where there were lose tiles creating a tripping hazard. The staff did try and find alternate rooms but could only offer three (not four) twin bed rooms and rooms in different parts of the hotel something we did not consider acceptable for couples travelling as a group. We appreciated their efforts. As they were unable to resolve the issue we cancelled our booking and found much better and cleaner accomodation near by for a lot less. While we appreciate others have had a great experience at this hotel, please don't rely on the positive reviews as we did as you may be very disappointed and have to spent time during your holiday to find alternate suitable accommodation. Stayed at Satriya and had a few meals at the restaurant. The food is varied and very good. Staff are very efficient and nice to deal with.Music leaves a bit to be desired at times but OK most of the time.

First meal on arrival - long time to get change - felt we were treated badly
We arrived in Bali and found this place tucked away (have been to Bali many times before). We had a great meals (mee goreng, cheeseburger) milkshakes / drinks etc and were very happy (date 7/7/17). However when we came to pay the bill we had a few problems. We could not get our change. The staff were all standing around the till for at least 10-15 minutes saying they were trying to work out the change, however the guys drinking bintang after bingtang (that seemed to be staying there could keep on getting their change for every beer they drank). Our bill came to 369,000 and we gave 400,000 so dont see what the problem was. We woulde have happily left them a tip if they gave us the change but we really didnt like the way they went about it. Very disappointing.
