Could not fault a thing
I've been keen to go here for years and finally was able to make a booking during our holiday to Bali this year; however after reading recent reviews, I was worried about the food and service being inconsistent. I'm so happy to report that we couldn't fault a thing; we had a wonderful experience. We had an early booking - 6pm, so we could enjoy the sunset and the views across the rice paddies before darkness. We arrived a little early and enjoyed a cocktail at the bar before being showed to our table - best seats in the house (in my opinion)! We were at the top of the stairs, front row to the rice paddies. Our 3-course dinner was sumptious (Quali, Sashimi, grilled whole-fish, seafood panache, apple tarte tatin (hubby thought this was was bit underwhelming), dessert tasting), and we enjoyed a walk around the paddies, saying hello to the ducks, in between courses. There are day-beds you can lounge on and take in the serenity. It's hard to believe it's a busy road at the front of the place. At night, the artful lighting of the trees and paddies only further enhanced the ambience of the restaurant. At no stage did we feel rushed or that the service was lacking. The staff are beautiful and attentive and we enjoyed chatting. We delt the prices were fair for the quality of the extablishment, the meals and service. A magical evening - we loved it!

Seafood at its best!
We went here tonight as just up the road from where we were staying so we never booked but was seated strait away then we ordered our meal and she told us it would be a 20 min wait which we were fine with the food was excellent and we ordered a pudding which was a ginger Crem Brûlée this was so tasty and very enjoyable all the way through we had our water glasses filled regularly which I really enjoyed.

Great location average food.
The location and the cocktails at the back of the restaurant set the mood. We were excited and looking forward to the dinner. I thought from the beginning the waiting staff were a bit too casual but I was prepared to let that go in expectation of a great meal. The lobster ravioli was fresh and to die for. That's where the great culinary experience ended. The king fish was like an old boot, tough and leathery and the barramundi was dry. It was not fresh and had probably been microwaved. The staff were just too groovy and did not seem to care......but the location was excellent.
