Great View, Poor Taste
Nice View, Poor Taste The view offers rice fields, small river and traditional huts. It’s unarguably natural and escape spot from busy days near Bandung and Lembang. However, restaurant shall be starred for its menu, that’s what we’re not in. Overcooked vegetables, below average taste for other menu we ordered such as dried fish, Rujak, Banana Fritter, Tahu & Tempe. The only fresh thing is the whole coconut. So those three stars we gave represents the ambience. It can co up to full stars if the taste and food approach go way higher.

Nice ambiance, so so food
The restaurant is surrounded by rice fields & fish ponds. Children will love feeding the fishes. Lovely ambiance where you are seated in a small hut to have your meals. Unfortunately, the food however was only average. The fried gourame fish was cold when it came. The food was better when we came here previously. Quality seems to have deteriorated.

Paddy field and all that it brings...
We loved eating at Sapu Lidi. Not only was the food lovely but the simplicity of sitting in a hut in the middle of a paddy field and having your lunch just takes you down memory lane. More so for my dad who grew up in the kampung days and spent much of his childhood playing in the paddy fields. Chicken was juicy and not overcooked and the fish was fresh and grilled evenly. Reasonably priced and comfortable, as we "sembang" (chilled and chatted) freely before and after the lunch. No one seemed to be rushing or needed to rush us to finish our meals. Ahhhhhhhhhh...such is life...
