Tasted beyond average for seafood street food hawker
Located at benhil previously as the original santiga's seafood hawker. Popular with its crab cuisines, and huge portion comparing with other seafood hawkers. Very crowded at night - especially at weekends. But currently declining its quality and tastes also serving smaller portions comparing with previously. This street food venue was effected by Jakarta' MRT project that became hassle to reached and also provide limited car parking lots.

This is a street seafood restaurant that only open at night. It serves variety of seafood dishes, fishes, crabs, squids, prawns and shells. The taste was excellent, I love its deep fried squid and salted egg prawn. Price was fair.

Great street seafood
Food in Indonesia, as in may places in Asia, is best enjoyed on the street. Santiga is an excellent example! The fish, crab, squid, in all their different sauce options taste delicious. Right at the street side maybe needs a bit getting used to but don't let that be a deterrent for such a great local food experience. (My favorite is the gurame fish, either grilled (bakar) or fried (goreng))
