Tonight was our first visit to Salazon and we were very impressed. The food was delicious and the decor/ambiance of the restaurant was fabulous. The prices are relatively high for Bali standards but the food, drinks, atmosphere and service make it worthwhile. If you are looking for a new restaurant to try on “Eat Street” in Seminyak, Salazon is a must!

Upmarket but affordable
Six of us had dinner at Salazon in Seminyak’s Eat street. It’s a very cool restaurant and nicely set out, with a full length stainless steel open kitchen where you can see all the action. Most of us had seafood- pink snapper and mahi-mahi, prawns, whilst others had meat dishes. Our group of 7 all agreed it was top food and a very nice restaurant. Prices a bit higher than many in Bali but still excellent value compared to Australian restaurants of this calibre. Great staff, very friendly and helpful and they know the menu well.

I feel cheated!
I sat at the front of this very well designed restaurant, the pleasant high ceilings and decor was more than impressive, and as the food came out it was absolutely nothing less than this! It came to a stage where my mother decided that the $175 French Chardonnay, that we were sipping did not meet her high expectations (expected when paying this price). As the inquisitive sole in the family my step father decided to test my mothers palette and search for the wine on the internet! Upon inspection, the wine online can be brought for $15... disgusting. Giving feedback to the manager he seemed rather perplexed... but the most he offered is was approx. $16 off the total bill.. The food is too die for. But this has truly forced me to never speak a good word of this restaurant! Kind regards, Your fav!
