Like Home Cooked Central Jawa'n Cuisine
Some amazing Central Java Cuisine – more like the home cooked style that we tried at this small restaurant in South Jakarta – Senopati Area – We were told to try Lontong Capgomeh & Nasi Kuning with some Beef – the beef was slightly on the sweater side so added some Sambal (Fresh Home Made Chili Paste) to adapt to our pallet. Would definitely recommend this place as a must try. Very Reasonable (sub $ 15 for a Meal for 2) including a Drink / Juice. I am told this is a Lunch Only Restaurant and closes by 6 PM (Not Sure)

Cosy place with typical homemade food by your mum
The place is around the corner of Cikajang, opposition the clinic of Ear-Throat-Mouth. It is cosy and simple Indonesian restaurant, services are ok, you have to ask the waitres if you have been waiting for more than 10minutes, remind them. Order more than one dishes as you'll get hungry after one hour later. The appetizers are tasty and lots of varieties. Lots of drink menus so don't worry your craving could be on the lists. Menus are not a lot but more like their specialities so for me, it is good not having so much varieties so not confused choosing which one. If you order Pecel or Gado-gado you can choose the crackers if you don't want Emping crackers. The Lumpia is good and tasty, real rebung. But yeah, choose more than 1 dishes for yourself if you expect big potion. I was hungry again after 2hrs later. Price is ok, not bad.

You'll want to order more than one dish
The selection is so good we wanted to eat more than our stomach could take. Ended taking the specialties recommended by a friend : nasi kuning And lontong cap gomeh. Both were excellent! (Oh! If there was one thing I could ask for more was chilli sambal to make my food spicier). I have a feeling that this will become one of our regulars very soon.
