Good food at a good price
Really enjoyed this place for lunch twice. Great food choice, cheap, overlooking the sea and staff really friendly

Great setting for a cold beer.
We didn't anything here. Just a few cold beers with an excellent view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

THERE ARE TWO ROSETTA READERS’ REVIEW PAGES, BUT….. ,,,,they are the same business in the same general area. Go left of where JAJAN PANTAI SINDHU meets SANUR BEACH PATH and you are in a bustling little zone of several restaurants and shops, ROSETTA'S main section of restaurant tables is the second beachside place from the corner – has a large ILLY sign out front. ROSETTA COFFEE SHOP is across the path – has several small ILLY signs on building. As far as I know, ILLY is a brand of coffee. So potential customers should read BOTH review pages ie ROSETTA COFFEE** SHOP and ROSETTA ILLY COFFEE**. Not big deal – main thing: this place is pretty good with several factors lifting it above the Bali average All the usual pluses of the island’s budget restaurants can be experienced – comprehensive menu with low prices, good food; adequate portions; polite fast service. Lifting ROSETTAS above this average are: foremost , LOCATION – adjacent the SANUR BCH WALKING PATH** back of central SINDHU BEACH** with most tables on the sand, affording good views over a nice section of beach and lagoon plus central east coast BALI (if cloud clears you may even see towering volcano AGUNG) and a close walk from most central SINDHU accommodation. Several restaurants are adjacent (budget and a bit flasher), a small shop, + SANUR BCH MARKETS and SINDHU BCH MARKETS nearby in each direction. Additionally ROSETTAS has some pluses over the adjacent budget competition including – GOOD COFFEE...um, I’m no caffeine tragic, but it tasted pretty good to me and the presentation is kinda artistic (see reviewers’ pix) – and YUMMY LOOKING DESERTS. I think the place must employ someone in the kitchen with an artistic touch – those dishes sure look good. Great for business – you see them come out and you have to order one. Are there any negatives? Sure – rain or wind can spoil beach dining (the undercover area the across the beach path has limited seating); 10% tax is added to menu prices; some menu items were “No have”; and you need negotiate your way thru the BEACH MARKET LADIES WHO CONGREGATE outside: “You visit my shop?” I find a shake of the head, keep walking works well. If they ask “Where you come from?” UZBEKISTAN throws them. VERDICT – nice guys might come last, but nice places like this are winners. **TRIPADVISOR has review pages
