Awesome Vintage Resto
It looked like a simple house from the front, after we entered there, the design was awesome. Yes, it's sooo vintage, like we were back to 80s or 90s. The food is sooo tasty with budgeted cost. The staffs are friendly. Will surely be back when we travel to Singaraja someday.

It's average but Ok!
Mailaku Restaurant is one of the older restaurants in Lovina just a short walk from the Dolphin Statue, beach, markets, some small shops, other restaurants and bars in Central Lovina. It’s nothing special but it's interesting, cheap and the food is ok especially the pizza. I will be back!

Lovina is hardly the culinary capital of Bali, but there are some great eating houses here. Mailaku is not one of them. This three storey cafe in the heart of Lovina Beach boasts the best 'surf & turf in town...the manager himself told us so. Three of us agreed to try this signature dish, the other three were not convinced and opted for Margarita pizzas. The turf (steak) was fatty, tasteless, gristle. The surf wasn't a king prawn, as per the menu, it consisted a few frozen shrimps. The veggies and chips were bordering on O.K. Now for the Pizzas. Again tasteless, dried out, burnt offerings. Had they came in a box I'm sure the box would have tasted better. We complained to the manager who told us if wasn't his fault the steak was fatty,"it comes from New Zealand" he protested. I don't think so. As for the Pizzas, "That's the way they make them in Milan" he insisted. Again, that's not our experience. Avoid this restaurant.
