A truly memorable authentic Indonesia food !
Ria Galeria was just opposite the hotel we were staying so we were fortunate to be able to try authentic Indonesian food on our first night. The restaurant is housed in an old charming building with Dutch influenced decor - the hanging lamps, paintings and antiques. The waiters were attentive, friendly and recommended some good dishes to us. We had sate, sop buntot, ayam goreng, gurami goreng and kangkong sambal . Suffice to say, we finished everything as the dishes were delicious. The sambal complemented the dishes very well , not too spicy although we almost finished the box of tissue to wipe our perspirations! Altogether, it was a memorable but reasonable priced dinner which cost about 430,000 rupiahs including rice, drinks( double order) , a side dish and tax. We even managed to learn some Javanese from the waiters. Definitely worth coming again on our next visit!

Good Indonesian Delicacies
Went here with 15 family members. We booked a room in advance, we got the Java Room. Waitress knowledge is good & helpful, also quite friendly. The food is great. I tasted Sate Sumsum, Sate Kambing , Rujak Manis, Sop Buntut. Watch out for the Plecing Kangkung though, it's really spicy but exciting. I recommend this restaurant for you who wanted to eat Indonesian food with family. Great for gathering too.

Good food but watch out for spicy dishes!
Our hosts ordered the food and most was very good, but some were so spicy that a tiny bit of it left me chocking and gasping for water! I know that in Asian cuisine a lot of meat is cook with the bones on, but good grief, can they at least avoid pulverizing those bones before putting them in the soup? You end up spitting tiny chards and it detract from the enjoyment! Nice service and very quiet when we visited!
