All this time only hear this restaurant name but never try. Since in the neighborhood so willing to try. Quite surprised because its full... yet this place is small, people enjoying their dinner. As my order come, I try their fried rice, butter fried frog and pork kuluyuk and the taste was good. Willing to come back to try other menu, since they have a lot of various menu...

Me and My Fried Rice Addiction
Love, love, love this restaurant since I was little. My dad used to brought home a simple fried rice with chicken (nasi goreng ayam) from this restaurant and I have been loving it since - a must order for me when I'm dining here. I even bought a portion or two for take away :D In my opinion, they truly have the best Chinese-style fried rice in town! This is an old restaurant and the way they still keep it that way instead of renovating it make the ambiance nostalgic which is one of the charms of this restaurant. They serve great quality Chinese food and you don't need to question the taste. The food here are comfort food, a perfect hearty meal to enjoy with friends or family. Been going here for quite some times to celebrate family members birthday. Some of the food I recommend are : nasi goreng ayam (chicken fried rice) - my all time favorite, mie ulang tahun (special fried noodle - usually for birthday, served with red colored quail egg), lumpia udang (shrimp springroll), cah ayam jamur (sauted chicken and mushroom), and cap cai cah with pork (sauted vegetable with pork). Oh, they're pickled cucumber are also superb! Though the restaurant is small and old, the price of the food are not cheap at all, probably mid-range considering the food are also great. They even serve hisit (Shark's Fin), pauw hee (abalone), and if not mistaken, they also serve haisom (sea cucumber) which are the 'luxury food' - as I called them - for Chinese cuisine. Overall Restoran Trio great place to have a hearty chinese food meal in a busy city like Jakarta.
