Excellent Chinese restaurant in town
Went there for dinner two days in a row, must try the snapper noodle.....the noodle is made from snapper ....I kid you not.....the rest of the food also have a traditional taste of Chinese Indonesian cuisine. They close early around 9pm, so do come early to avoid disappointment.

Tasty comfort food
Our family of 4 had dinner at Mahkota. There were only a few tables occupied when we arrived. Service was prompt and good. The captain suggested bebek (duck) fried with special sauce, It was delicious. The others fish, vegetables fried egg were good comfort food with white rice. As we were still not full, we decided to try the mee kakap which is their signature dish. The noodles were different as they were fatter and had snapper meat. The dish was worthy of 5 star rating. I was told that the chef had a secret of preparing the noodles so it tastes unique. All the above was complemented by a good Bintang beer and the local sarsaparilla. Prices are most reasonable. Definitely worth a visit!
