Great Thai Food In Jakarta
Publico has had a makeover and is now Mrs Choo - with Thai/Asian cuisine. A sensible variety and really quality food. We dined there with some long time Jakarta residents who discovered only that day that the restaurant had changed its name. I would recommend most of the menu items but the scallops & pork belly were terrific. Probably a bit - only slightly - underpowered on the spicy/chilli front but not bland. Great desserts especially the ginger creme brûlée. Staff were great but take cash because the EFTPOS machine was struggling. I hope it proves a success - it deserves it.

Nice place, mediocre food and service
I often wonder if restaurant staff at nice places in Jakarta are ever trained to service customers. The waiters tend to linger around the bar together and never check to see if you need anything. You constantly have to call them. Then the food is brought one at a time so you watch your partner eat or you both just look at the plate while you wait 5 minutes for the other meal. Why not bring both meals at the same time? The menu here is too complicated. Mango salsa on a burger? Just keep it simple please. Same with the pizzas. The drinks are good and the bar is nice to sit at for a few. Not sure I'm coming back soon though.

Good Ambience. Long valet waiting. Average food. Nice Drink.
Visiting here with my friend a group of 6. The menu has a broad choice and the price is reasonable for such area of Senopati, it is not too expensive. The service is good. I Ordered a chicken something(which said is for 2) and surprise to find that the portion is too small for my big tummy. The chicken is salty and the spice is not well marinated. The drink does taste good(ordered a raspberry drink), It has a lots of choice to choose from. A good place for drink and chit chat but not a good place for food.
