Not like it was before.....
Went there last night with 6 friends. We got seated inside next to the fish pond. Ordered quite a few. Not forgetting the fried baby squid for sure. We also ordered barbecue fish (ikan kuwe), garlic shrimp, barbecue cuttlefish, morning glory (kangkung), bean sprouts (tauge) with salted fish and fish tom yum soup. First of all the soup was so lame. The fish in the soup looks like preserved fish while the taste itself far from par. The barbecue cuttlefish was a bit undercooked. Even the famous fried baby squid was not that special anymore like it used to be. And I really have to comment on the steam rice; they are just unacceptable. The quality of the rice was so bad. You can see it and taste it, and it was the kind of rice which you should only find at budgeted small ‘warung pojok’ where you don’t pay prime dollar for it. The only good dish was the bean sprouts with the salted fish. All else failed to entertain our taste buds. Simply below expectation of what it was before. Other things to note as well was the chilly selection that comes with the dishes. You can see that the ingredients are not as fresh as it used to before. I was not sure of how much they charge for the iced tea (not sweet) that came in small glass, I think it should be free refill.......

I have been looking for a great place to eat fish in Jakarta...for recommended from a friend and was not disappointed at all!! Really good and reasonably priced. The Udang shortens Telur Asin and Rica Rica spiced fish is great! Give it a try if you are around South Jakarta

Grilled fish, squid and prawn
Very good Makassar cuisine. Nicely grilled fish, squid and prawn with various chilli choice. Order grilled sukang fish and deep fried battered kudu-kudu fishes if they are available. Tasty crab cooked in padang sauce or black pepper. One of the best in Jakarta. Satisfactory dinner and will definitely come back.
