Highly Indonesianised Thai food
If you have ever eaten Chinese food in Australia or France, then this is the downmarket Indonesian equivalent version of Thaifood. It's thaifood for people who hev never been to Thailand, who don't like fish sauce and fresh corriander, but do like the idea of Thai NasiGoreng, which simply makes no sense. Its a clever business model... it appeals to the masses of Yogya students looking for somewhere different to take their girlfriend on a date, or to the masses of lower middle class Indonesian families who aren't about to get passports and airline tickets to fly to thailand and try the real thing. If you have been to Thailand and actually like Thai food, then this is not the place for you, the Thai restaurant in Prawirotaman, does a much more accurate version, though again still indonesianised... hard not to, when nationally people don't real like coriander etc. My advice... go to thailand

We were there in the afternoon and had curry chicken, and chicken satay. We liked the food, the staff was nice. We didn’t have other Thai food around, so we can’t compare. In Thailand the food is obviously nicer, so there’s only four stars...

Great taste of Thai inside Jogjakarta
Many times being here, no matter what. Day and night, special taste of thailand. I recommend 'Tahu Tiga Rasa', 'Sapi Bawang Putih', ''Ayam Saus Bangkok'. Don't forget to try the desserts, start from 'Ketan Durian'. It may become your great experiences.
