Fresh Food, Good Atmosphere
There aren't enough serviceable cafes in Jakarta. One is forced to choose between global chains, high-end formals or street vendors (which is a great option, just not every day). Opus Cafe was a refreshing find. I've visited three times so far, and have not been disappointed. I've had the Fettuccine Alfredo w/ Salmon, the signature cheeseburger and salmon steak. The menu has a good variety of selections for both Western and Indonesian items in all the usual categories (soup, salad, pasta, mains, etc.). I was immediately impressed with the food quality. Much, if not all, of it appears to be fresh and unprocessed. The Alfredo was creamy with generous chunks of grilled salmon. The salmon steak was quite good, with a large portion and a light touch on the seasonings. The cheeseburger had an impressive patty and was served on squid-ink bread. The meat was blissfully not well-done, so was still juicy and flavorful The main dishes were served with a small side salad and potato selection. The iced lemon tea was refreshing and homemade (not Nestle mix) with a good dose of fresh lemon juice (seeds at the bottom of the glass). It was just sour enough to quench a thirst without causing me to wince and my salivary glands to hyperventilate. The beer selection is limited to Bintang, which is a shame, since it is the worst local beer available. I would recommend expanding the selection to include Bali Hai beers for a nice variety. The interior and patio are a bit cramped, but not uncomfortable. The lay-out reminds me of places in New York City and Paris, without the exorbitant prices, though the outdoor seating is a bit close to the toll road and is quite noisy. For the same reason, though, it makes a nice stop-over while waiting for traffic to die down. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the servers were very accommodating and pleasant. They all wear black outfits with bandannas for a hip, edgy look that I found fun and different. Food delivery was fast and prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity served. Overall, I had pleasant experiences and will go back for more, as long as the freshness and quality is maintained.

Lokasi yg pas sebagai tempat bertemu, tdk terlalu ramai, waiters yg ramah dan makanan yg cepat disajikan. Harga medium. Saat berkunjung Saya memesan grill atlantic salmon, rasa tdk istimewa, saus barbeque cukup ok. Jus mangga yg terlalu banyak es. Kesimpulan : hanya standart.

Nice place for chatting
I met a friend at this place, she chose it anyway, before my arrival. But it was such a nice place for chatting and discussing good plans ahead. The dishes were good also, I ordered fish and chips with ice cappuccino, my friend ordered hot tea (could be refilled) and mocha cake. The staffs were also helpful. Could be the place chosen for other meetings with small group of people.
