Beer & Footie
Only called in to have a quick beer as hubby didn't want to miss the start of the state of origin last week, The steps are so steep leading up to the restaurant/bar itself and you have to be mindful of that going back down. The beer was cold and cheap That's about it! The place itself is pretty scuffy in appearance and tbh I didn't even want to touch the table or the stubby holder. The toilets - well, after seeing those, I certainly wouldn't eat here... Based on the ratings, it sounds like the food is good - as far as hygiene goes (and is top of my list) I wouldn't be game to try it.

Been coming here for years and the good is great
The unfortunate thing with Olips is that you could walk right past it and not know that it was there. Its opposite the Melasti hotel in Legian and is upstairs at the Grand Sinar Indah hotel. The staff are soooo friendly and the manager has always come to have a talk with us and make sure everything is good with the meals. If you like a traditional curry then this is the place to go.I usually get the Serasob Segoda but this time got the Nyap nyap siap which is chicken curry with sambal, local beans and condiments. Its great and so well presented. The rest of the table had sweet and sour pork, club sandwich and a mei goreng. All were equally well presented and delicious.Very positive dining experience so give it a go and well priced. The staff make it such a great experience too

Great spot to watch the footy
Great spot to watch the footy with a cold beer and some nasi goreng and satay sticks. Not as busy as most sports bars. Staff are friendly and will remember you even years after your last visit. The place isn't air conditioned but has plenty of fans and is up high so it catches a nice breeze.
