Service was the drawback, food was good but not the most authentic Indian
Pretty good food but wouldn’t go back due to service. The service: One of the waitresses was sweet at first but then things went downhill. As she brought our food over, we asked if we could sit at another table (the only comfy seating option) which was being cleaned, and she literally rolled her eyes, let out a scoff at the inconvenience, and yelled to her coworker to hurry up so she could put the food down. I understand she was holding a heavy tray but the table was seconds away from being ready and it made us feel very uncomfortable for asking for what we wanted. We thanked her multiple times, to which she gave no reply. After that we just wanted to eat our food and get out of there. As we paid and got desserts for take-away, we could tell she was talking about us to her coworkers and we’re relieved when someone else got us our desserts. The food: We both got masala dosas which were quite good, mango mint & coconut chutneys were all yummy (although small portions, tablespoon of each), the palak tofu dish was ok - it had been sitting in the fridge and warmed up when we ordered it (which is expected for a small restaurant not to have everything freshly made), and the sambar soup was subpar and not an authentic recipe - just a thin spicy soup with veggies. Overall wouldn’t return mostly due to service. I was satisfied with the food. It’s good if you’re not expecting top notch authentic Indian cuisine.

Good vegetarian food
We ordered some South Indian dishes which was good. Lassi was same as we drink in india with bamboo straw(not indian style) if you are vegetarian this is a good option

Great place for delicious lunch when studying next door at Cinta Bahasa language school
I don’t know if it’s authentic and vegan, etc, but I read the great views and love all kinds of Indian food so I came here. So glad I did! Lovely relaxed garden setting, very friendly attentive service, helpful suggestions and DELICIOUS masala dosa as mentioned many times (that’s why I chose it). Crispy fresh pancakes, slightly spiced potato and pea filling: yummm! I chose the coconut and the coriander chutney: both very fresh and bright. Rose lassi was tasty and had spices in it as well. Will try mango next time and other recommendations from the reviews. I’m a month of lessons, I fear I will exhaust their menu!
