Hipster cafe/restaurant. Very nice interior deisgn and ambient. Gelato was superb, taste better than the Tempo Gelato few steps down the same alley. The Move On Salad, awesome!

Doesn’t deserve such a high rating
We ate here twice and both times I left a little disappointed. The first day I had eggs on toast with guacamole and hollandaise. The hollandaise is bought in and the guacamole was unseasoned so the whole thing was rather bland. The wedges were nice. My partner had the giant pizza which did taste pretty good and was great value. The second day we order gnocchi in cheese sauce. It was almost luminous yellow when it was served to us, it tasted overwhelmingly of mustard. We sent it back, they asked if we wanted it to be made again, we said no. When we went to pay the gnocchi was still on the bill so I said we weren’t going to pay for it because it was bad. The staff started to refuse to remove it from our bill, one of the staff said that is just how they make it - I said well it’s wrong - it even says cheese sauce on the menu! They spent a bit of time making comments about us in Indonesian and then went to get the manager, who was the most sour faced person I’d ever seen. She did not make eye contact nor apologised. All in all the food is average at best, certainly not 4.5/5 and the service is poor. Given that there is usually 6 wait staff in its often hard to get attention as they are usually chatting to each other or on their phones, even when I was stood at the counter clearly waiting to be served.

Food poisining by the chicken sandwhich
Second night out in Yogyakarta, February 5th, we decided to try a place new to us. Move On. For the past week I have been so sorry for going there. We went with a group of 4, where 2 had the BBQ Ribs, 1 had the pizza with chicken and I had the chicken sandwich. After the first bite I already noticed something was wrong and then I saw it. The chicken was still very pink. Raw as raw could be. While the bun was partially burned black. So we called staff to actually cook the chicken. The damage seemed to have been done already. The next morning I didn't feel too well, stomach cramping and about 24 hours after eating the sandwich everything came out. Top and bottom. Stomach was completely upset and I felt miserable like crazy. Now we are a week further and I am not fully recovered but luckily almost there. The holiday has been royally screwed over. Turned out I was not the only one, my friend with the chicken pizza had gotten diarrhea too. So never ever will I go back here. I prefer to enjoy my holidays and as such down the street at ViaVia things are much better. In all my years here, never been sick there.
