Delicious local fare
We had our first meal in Bali upon checking in Marriot Vacation Club. The staff were attentive and service is great. We ordered Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng whereby the portion are great and food is fresh and delicious to our taste. Overall a nice restaurant for family.

Fabulous Cooking Class
We asked Chef Agus if we could have a cooking class. It was arranged and Chef Made Artawa was our instructor (along with his wonderful staff). We spent three hours cooking and eating. We made Base Genep (Balinese Mother Spice Paste), Nasi Goreng Spice Paste, Peanut Sauce, Nasi Kuning (yellow rice), Sate Lilit (Minced Seafood Satay), and Sambal Kacang (Satay Chicken). After cooking, we were seated and served our food (they made the presentation look wonderful). We had so much fun and learned so much, that we are going back in three days to take a second class. Right now, this class is not advertised, but don't let that stop you from asking. If you want to learn to cook Indonesian and Balinese food, just ask one of the Chefs at Momo Café if you can take a class with them.

Worst service ever
The food was just okay and the experience would have been average had the service been even remotely acceptable. There were half a dozen employees just standing around yet it took 15 minutes for someone to bring us menus, another 15 to order, and 45 minutes to get our very simple orders (soup and grilled chicken). After dinner we waited another 20 minutes to order dessert and it took another 40 minutes to come out. The place was empty so I’m not sure why everything took so long, but I will make sure to not return to this restaurant during my stay here. What was supposed to be a quick dinner turned into a 2.5+ hour event. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
