My new favourite bar - drink the world a better place, what a cool concept!
I've been coming to Ubud for 15 years and have enjoyed some of the best nights out at some wickedly good bars. Unfortunately, a few of the best have closed over the past few years and left a gap in the late night, cool vibes, friendly staff, sector. Consequently, I've been delighted to discover Lovin Bar. A great place to meet people, their jugs of arak cocktail are an amazingly good deal and great for sharing amongst your "new best friends". If you know the Ubud scene and are looking for somewhere to replace the late night legend that was Napi Orti on Monkey Forest. The music is cool and varied, as is the mix of locals, expats and tourists - a great late night out spot. Look forward to meeting you there. If all that's not enough, profits from the bar support the Ginantri Foundation that gives orphans and under-privileged kids help towards success in later life. So if you want to drink the world a better place, come join us at Lovin Bar - last road on the right before the big Arjuna statue on Jalan Raya, look out for the LED raindrop lights on the left about 250 metres down,.

Ubud hangout like it used to be years ago..
Great authentic bar with a nice mix of local and foreign guests. Good music, tasty snacks and fair priced drinks. Music usualy starts at 9pm. Definitely recommended to all guests who want to enjoy an evening off the beaten tourist tracks...

My favorite place to be in Ubud
Reggea, open mic, salsa, live music and a great ambiance. What else do you need! I find myself Lucky that I found this place in Ubud. Besides evenings where you can listen to some of the best bands in Ubud, you can get on stage yourself to show everyone what you got as a singer or musician. Also for the dancers among is there is a special Salsa night where the Salsa community from Ubud comes to dance and you can join them on the dancefloor. All levels are welcome. The food in Lovin is a combination of traditional Balinese and western food, mainly dutch because of the bond Lovin has with the Netherlands. Lovin is also the homebase for the Ginantri foundation. This foundation help poor children on Bali by raising money to pay for their education. Eating and drinking at Lovin helps these children.
