We were brought here by a driver late at night - he said this was the perfect spot for a dinner for two of us. He must have mentioned to the staff that we were on our honeymoon because they seated my husband at a special table at the very edge of the beach to watch the surf. Before I sat down, I paid a visit to the bathroom. I had fallen asleep in the car on the way to the restaurant so I was a little groggy but the state of the toilet woke me up pretty quickly. Can’t even put into words the level of filth. This made me open eyes more to the restaurant. When I walked outside to meet up with my husband I realized that we were the only people at this restaurant and that the other restaurants nearby were completely full - not a great sign. The waitstaff was very friendly but I soon realized that they had our menu open to the “beach view” page which advertised a dinner for two for 1,650,000 rp, about $115 USD. I asked my husband if he requested this meal and he said no, they just put him there. Between the filth, lack of patrons, and touristy-trap feeling, I was done. We paid for a water bottle that I had and tipped the waitstaff (for nothing but thought we should nonetheless) and left. As we were leaving, the smiles and facade faded and everyone became extremely rude. It was pretty interested to see how quickly they all stopped being polite and accommodating and basically shoved us out of this restaurant. This behavior did not exclude our driver, who may have been expecting to make commission or something off of us based on his response to us leaving and asking to return to the hotel. It was weird. Go anywhere else.

Once over the shock...food was nice
As per other previous reviews, we were dropped off to Legong following recommendation. Expecting a wonderful sunset dinner, unfortunately the beach is full of rubbish and not so nice view. After sitting outside unfortunately the weather was not kind to us with thunderstorms rolling in quickly. The staff were very helpful and moved us inside quickly. There is limited food selection and is VERY expensive. I must say I was very nervous due to lack of cleanliness, however food arrived and was surprisingly delish. All seafood cooked on coal served together with greens and rice. Would I recommend, probably not. But if you want a traditional Balinese experience with a European price tag then go for it.

Worst Restaurant ever and ripp off tourists!
We were brought there by our driver, he said that this is the very best restaurant there. It is located near the sea, there were lots of asian tourists. No romantic atmosphere but loud noise coming from different restaurants, one louder than the other. Terrible. We had to pay for one meal (one small fish (!), rice, two small sauce bowles und two tiny side dishes, two drinks) more than 920.000 Rupiah!!! In the menue rice and side dishes were included, but at the end we hat to pay everything extra although we argued that it was said to be included in the menue. We sat on plastic chairs and the dish clothes were dirty. Most expensive food in Bali so far in a horrible location. Seriously, don't go there. It's a ripp off for tourists und a very unfriendly staff. As a tourist you are treated like a golden goose. Very sad!
