Viva la France
We have previously eaten at their sister restaurant, Melting Wok in Ubud and loved the food, so we were looking forward to trying their new venture. We are so glad we did. It is a tastefully decorated and bright restaurant on a quiet street. The food was all superb, Beef and Chicken Curries, also Salmon Tartines The owner, Geraldine was very friendly, chatting to guests, and the staff were all so nice and efficient. We can certainly recommend La Brasserie ( this was actually written before the World Cup Final, so Viva la France again ! )

She did it again!
If you know Geraldine from Melting Wok Ubud, you need to visit her in Jimbaran too. La Brasserie presents two type of dinner menu, western and asian (Melting Wok menu). Although the option is not many, I love everything they presented. Not to forget, the portion is big! The dessert is also good, especially the creme caramel. Don’t forget to ask their special menu of the day. The atmosphere is good, Geraldine and staffs are as warm as usual. Minus point, no parking lot for cars.

A Must Eat
We stumbled across La Brasserie after a SPA treatment on our way back to Jimbaran Beach. The decor is super chic and the staff were very friendly, full of smiles and happy to be there. The food, simply put is amazing. They don't try to compete with the beachfront seafood restaurants and instead have carved out their own niche of takes on the Indonesian classics with a little bit of French pizzaz. We also tried the local wine which wasn't bad and overall the pricing is really spot on. We went back to see Geraldine and the team 2-3 times during our stay.
