Typical Balinese Tourist Buffet
Typical tourist buffet, price was 100K IDR, not too unreasonable for all you can eat. It's just typical in the sense that the local tourist drivers take you here and then in return the restaurant provides them some food downstairs away from the "paying customers". Decent choices of food, however it can become quite crowded which is annoying when you are trying to grab a quick meal. Nice views of the volcano. Drink prices expensive and its very confusing as to where and how you are meant to pay for your drinks.

Quantity over quality
I recently ate here with a group tour. The table clothes were dirty, seating was tight and it’s quite a difficult restaurant to manoeuvre around as there are various steps and platforms. The buffet was ok - nothing to rave about but because we were very hungry it seemed better than it probably was. On the upside, the wait staff were helpful and there was plenty of food.

Feels very much like a tourist-only location. The food was tasty and there was plenty of variety and quantity. The staff was polite and helpful. The views of Batur are the real attraction. Not a cheap meal, but not overly expensive. The toilets could use a bit of an upgrade. There are several similar restaurants in the area. This is the one our guide suggested. I would recommend going just a bit farther and trying one of the ones not as crowded.
