Korean style sashimi and sushi
A Korean setting. The sashimi platter includes soups, oden, temaki roll, fish head soup and teppan rice. All this for Rp500,000! Taste was fresh and a little chewy which is typical of Korean style sashimi. The sushi is familiar to the sashimi platter. The food comes with Korean side dishes such as kimchi, fried veggies and okra. The kimchi is good tasting. Price is mid range. Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon!

All You Can Eat Korean Sashimi
This restaurant is located in the fashionable part of town where a lot of the fancy, expensive places are. It is also in a part of town that is awash with Korean restaurants and bars. Kim Sat Gat specializes in sashimi. Do not go here if you want Korean BBQ. This is no a BBQ place. They have an all-you-can-eat sashimi deal which is about 500k per person. I forget the exact deal, but if you pay a little extra it comes with a bottle of soju. The sashimi is fresh and you get a decent assortment of high quality cuts like salmon and tuna. You also get some less high quality cuts, and these are meant to be dipped in sesame oil, wrapped in leaves and eaten with some soybean paste. While I find this method of eating is really great for BBQ, it just wasn't as satisfying with sashimi which is more delicate and doesn't really benefit from being mixed with other strong flavours. The fish also comes with a HUGE number of side dishes and soups, including a kimchi sushi roll which was nice. If you're not a big eater, you probably don't even need the all-you-can-eat option. One plate for 2 is pretty huge, especially with all the other dishes. Service was pretty good. I mean, if you're looking for good fresh sashimi and you're tired of Sushi Tei, I'd give this place a try.

Awesome quality sushi!
This is a hidden gem! Found it walking around randomly. They serve very good quality sushi with thick fish slices - I have only had sushi this good in Japan before.
