Both authentic and impressive.....
Sunset dinner visit in the well appointed second floor restaurant space. The menu is presented as authentically Indonesian, cherry picking interesting dishes from all over the archipelago and offering small and large dishes -all designed to be shared. Our first small dish choice.... Fried Prawn and fish dumplings were well cooked, really flavorsome and, like all the subsequent offerings, beautifully presented. The Marinated Fresh Tuna dish - a local riff on a Ceviche was , though tasty, slightly less successful with flavours being a little muddled and lacking the requisite zing. Chicken Satay large plate was however text book and outstanding. Chicken with great depth of flavour and a beautifully balanced nut sauce. Again our other choice -the Crispy Duck, was noticeably dry and a little stringy probably from having been cooked quite some time ago and held just a little too long. Not overall unacceptable....l would have bought it to the kitchens attention otherwise, but not up to the standard of the best of the rest. The separately ordered sambal selection was terrific though, with a range of flavours and heat levels and sized really generously. The restaurants claim to authenticity stands ..... they are presenting regional dishes beautifully and with a relative lack of compromise and not , like other similar establishments in Seminyak, trying for trendy deconstruction. Excellent wine list, good beer and cider selection and the usual range of cocktails. Service is exemplary being both polished, friendly and professional and the prices are fair. Only other reservation is the loud and intrusive music that the complex has pumping throughout and which, periodically made conversation difficult. Kills it as destination for a romantic night out and just generally irritates. That aside this is a fine restaurant run by owners that care and l would be happy to return.

Great service, lovely food, pleasant setting and amazing view - can’t ask for much more! We had the crisp skin duck as recommended by our waitress and it was amazing.

Delicious Indonesian food
Went there with my 7 month old baby. There are so many different types of seating, you can take your pick. We sat upstairs in the AC restaurant(kinda like a fine dine experience). The staff suggested us some really great dishes to try and they were all very delicious. We had a duck large plate, a wok, a fish and prawn dumpling (small plate) and a chicken small plate. We ordered some beef too. For dessert we had some sweet potato dish which was unique but I didn’t like it that much and another tart like thing which was delicious. It was all very appetising unfortunately can’t remember the names so best to ask them. Had a good dining experience. Definitely a must visit place for any type of group (family, solo, couple or friends). It’s not expensive either. In Indian rupees we paid 6,000 for a meal for 4 adults which is quite reasonable personally.
