A definite go-to place for some good Katsu place in Jakarta, although it's very expensive but worth the money. Food: We ordered the Pork Sirloin Katsu Set, Pork Tenderloin Katsu Set and Buta No Kakuni ala carte. The size was huge so 1 portion can fit for 2 pax. The tenderloin was amazing and the katsu's crispiness is just right. The sirloin was also amazing. The Buta No Kakuni brings in a new flavor in Katsutoku - it's basically pork belly cooked in soy sauce. Service: Service was a bit slow since they don't have much waitresses around and it's on busy period. Ambiance: Small corner at the lower ground of Sentral Senayan makes Katsutoku a bit cramp. Our table is literally next to the other table.

This is the go-to place in Jakarta for premium and super satisfying Katsu Meal. Their pork sirloin Katsu, available in two size options, tastes heavenly—flavorfully fatty yet also very tender with perfectly crisp exterior. Make sure to opt for the set meal with Tonjiru (pork broth) soup for a complete experience. For appetizer, those with adventurous palate may choose the crunchy deep-fried prawn shells (yes, shells), which will whet your appetite in no time. Expect to spend around Rp 250,000 per person, might sound a bit pricey for a Katsu meal, but it’s totally worth every penny.

It's very, very expensive though - the average price of the menu is about 200k for a meal of deep fried meat and rice, not including drinks and tax. Even in Tokyo, a Katsu meal with comparable taste would only cost around 100k. I recommend trying this place once, and then see if you can justify the price to visit this place again. I know I would.
