Enough is enough...

You know this situation?? For sure you know! You rush into a new restaurant, enjoy the atmosphere, clean food to reasonable prices accompanied by a nice and friendly staff... But this was...long time ago... We enterd Kat‘s Kitchen right at it‘s „soft opening“ a few years ago. I still remember the owner standing in the middle of her restaurant, wishing all the guests a warm welcome and promised to serve Thai food at its best. From that day on, we regularly visited this restaurant while in Bali, usually two to three times a week. Above that, we recommended this restaurant to all our friends and guests visited us in Bali. We often invited them to there and enjoyed many great times and nice evenings @ KK. During the years KK went very famous and was often full of guests all evenings long. Maybe this success was too much.... In the beginning of last year, service and food quality continously went down while prices also continously went up. We often complained the problems we were faced with service and/or food to the staff, but neither got qualified answers nor the frustrating situations changed when we visited this place again and again. Today we tried once more... ordered one starter and two main courses. After we finished our starter, one (!) main course arrived. After waiting for around 10 more minutes, we asked for our second order because we‘re not used to eating one after the other when going to have dinner in a restaurant. After a short while, the second ordered meal arrived. We asked the waitress what‘s the problem caused because the restaurant was nearly empty. She wasn‘t able to answer our question so we called for the manager. The girl called another girl who told us that she‘s the manager tonight. Anyway she was also not able to explain the reason which caused the problem with the delayed food. In compensation she served us a peace of cake for free. That was very kind of her but this was not what we expected while complaining this regularly occuring problem for the x.-time. So I went to the cashier‘s place to pay the bill. What a surprise seeing the owner herself (!) standing nearby, obviously not interested in solving her guest‘s problems herself. She didn‘t even say „hello“ or „selamat malam“ to me...totally ignorant behaviour! So how can disappointed guests, especially regular customers, act to avoid such angry situations like this??? Say „bye bye“ to Kats Kitchen and have dinner in the future... elswhere !!

Great Place to Eat

I think its a very nice place with good food and one of the best in Jimbaran and Bukit area. The food is fresh, taste different but suit my tounge
