Best Food in Lovina
We ate at Jasmine Kitchen 3 times during our stay in Lovina. We only wished we had found it earlier! There is not a lot of option for good food in Lovina as most places seem to be bars serving food as secondary and so we had a couple of meals so bad we paid and left without finishing. We love Thai food and I would say I am a good judge of its authenticity. The food here was a little too sweet but otherwise it was fresh and delicious. The portions were very big too. The chef is Balinese but trained in Thailand and all the dishes we tasted were fantastic. We are both vegetarian and they were happy to change any item to accommodate this. I particularly recommend the Tom Kha Gai soup, the dumplings and the Massaman curry. A couple of the reviews mention bad service. We did not find this the case. Yes, they were on their phones, but twice we were the only customers in the restaurant... I would not expect them or want them to stand there watching me or staring out the window! If they are happy then we can be left in peace to lesiurely eat our meal and talk without being observed or rushed. If we wanted something we just asked and they were there with smiles and a friendly attitude. Highly recommended!

Get New staff who want to serve you and not be on their phones all the time and ignoring customers! Nothing else good to say to make up the 100 words to submit this review

We went from Canggu to Lovina for one night, and we ended up eating in Jasmine’s kitchen. I think it was a nice place, my food was very tasty and also the wine was good.. but the staff was not soo enthusiast.. we were the only costumers in the restaurant, and maybe they we’re tired idk, but they were on their phone the whole time, it looked like they didn’t wanted to serve us.. but besides that- tasty food & good restaurant.
