Expectations Met !
Having had the luxury of staying at the Indiana Kenanga for a week recently I dined at the restaurant often. At first I was daunted by reviews I had read that the menu was french cuisine based, not to my taste at all.. but after having breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences I changed my mind. Breakfast range was adequate, I enjoyed my scrambled egg breakfast. I would have liked the cereal range to be expanded though. Lunch options were a good range, the aussie beef burger was yum (with chips). Dinner range was precise, condensed but touched/catered for various tasts so there was something for most tasts. I rate the curry lamb and seasoned rice very good. Desert was to die for, especially the pear and sauce. Coffee delicious, fresh juices and cocktails the best. Service was fast, courteous, professional plus on one occasion staff went beyond when we ordered a quick compilation of coffee, juice and sandwiches to takeaway in 15 mins for a tour we were going on. Overall very good.

Because you’re worth it!
This is a high class restaurant with a French influence and the food is absolutely delicious. The setting is perfect overlooking the beach and you can choose to sit under cover or on the sand under the stars. We enjoyed our meals here but thought the wine was quite expensive and were surprised that there was no dark rum available for the entire week we stayed, even though we saw it at the local bottle shop. The staff are very friendly and ensure your experience is a memorable one. So for that special occasion (or just because you’re worth it) eat here, savour the view and enjoy.

High hopes were trashed
Hmmmm. The food here for Bali is very expensive, Australian prices. My friend and I though we would go here for our last night in Bali. What a mistake. We had a shared started of the Tapenade. The tapenade itself tasted good - except we both found tiny fragments of olive stones - our teeth survived!. For some reason they stuck crudites in it which looked very odd - the cauliflower florets had black patches on them - really not what I would expect from a 'fine dining' restaurant. I had the gnocchi - so overcooked it tasted like wall paper paste a very unpleasant experience. The sauce was not good either. One redeeming feature of this restaurant is they they do the best cocktails on the beach. I would not risk eating here again and have no idea why it has such high ratings
