Simple interior, but food is good and tasty (finally found no meat/egg place!). The owner is very welcoming and always ready to help with your choice.

What a great little find
While the atmosphere isn't much to write home about, it is more than amply rectified by the friendly owner and delicious food. I literally stumbled upon this little gem while walking on Jl. Setia Budi on a shopping mission. What a pleasant surprise to be happily welcomed by the owner who introduced me to the specials and the menu. I tried both specials of the day: faux beef rendang (a rendition of the famous Padang, Sumatra dish with a mushroom composite beef substitute) and the soto mie (typical chicken noodle soup with some sort of soy protein isolate chicken substitute). Both were very good. On a side note, I didn't care too much for the green chili sambal that typically comes with Padang food as it was quite different than usual, but that's a subjective taste issue. Tasty vegan food and lovely owner
We went here for dinner today. When we entered the owner came to our table and we had a lovely talk to him since he could speak English and was happy to help us read the Indonesian menu. He told us the cuisine was in Javanese style, as that's where he's from, which is less spicy than the Balinese food. The food itself was tasty. We ordered noodlesoup and fried "chicken" and green beens mixed with mushrooms, and deep fried crispy fake meat and it was very tasty. The deep fries stuff seemed slightly stale but later we found out the restaurant closing time was right when we entered so he had been very kind of them to still let us in. (opening times: 6.30-14.00 and 15:00-20:00 I'm case someone can't find it online just like me).
