I stopped here for lunch as the grounds and view looked nice and there were lots of free tables. I can understand why now. I tried to order four dim sum dishes, and was later told two were unavailable. So I tried to order another two, only for the waitress to return 5-10 mins later and say they were unavailable too. I asked her what was available, but either she didn't understand the question or she couldn't say, although she did at least show me the menu again. Communication was difficult, I understood little of what she said and vice versa. In the end, I forgot about the second two dim sum dishes and ordered a dessert (chocolate brownies & ice cream) instead. It came first (price: 40k IDR), and was a joke. I was served two very small pieces of flavourless brown sponge cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that had large chunks of pure ice in it. Then came the dim sum. The "Beijing mantau" (30k IDR) was three chunks of very rubbery, vaguely sweet-tasting stodge. The char siew buns (30k IDR) at least had some flavour to them, but again, the buns were rubbery. The waitress brought the bill before I asked for it. Some people might have taken offence at that, but I didn't as I wasn't planning on hanging around! For a total price of about 170k IDR all in, I would expect a lot better. When you look at their prices, bear in mind that they whack on an extra 21% for tax and service. At least they mention that on the menu. In the interests of balance, I will say that the drink (vanilla milkshake) was fine, the grounds and view were nice, the staff were pleasant enough and there was a friendly cat on the grounds. I am not a difficult person to please, just look at my past reviews. If they want people to keep coming back, they need to get their act together with the food and language skills. Fresh ingredients and dishes that are available in fact, not just on paper would be a good start.

The best place with the ocean view
We’ve been to this place couple times and definitely will come back. The food is delicious, the service is on the high level. Ordered hokao (steamed dumplings with prawns), tom yung soup, kung pao chicken and drunken prawns. Everything is properly cooked and very delicious! For desert ordered banana split - banana and ice creams. Definitely recommend this place.
