i HAVE to come....
Because i have always love Chef Ryan's Tippling Club in Singapore. i am still excited for this new addition in the already very vibrant f&b scene of Bali. Long overdue for a visit, i finally made it after i book myself for a much-needed vacation to Bali. They are the bar and restaurant of the L Hotel Seminyak, but i know i am in the right place when i saw that familiar hanging bottles centrepiece - like the one they have over their bar in Tipping Club. Grow focuses on the idea of "farm-to-table", with the use of locally sourced produce - vegetables that are grown in the highlands and seafood from the sea surrounding Bali. Great food with even more amazing cocktails is nothing less than i would expect from Grow. i am glad that the team here did a good job holding up the fame with consistency in quality. Reading through the menu of regular dish names but made up of somewhat unexpected ingredients sure gave me a hard time to decide on my order. i want everything....but they had me at homemade pasta. Nothing more comforting than eating pasta not out of an instant pack. Amongst 4 of us, i did an overorder of (considering that we just had lunch 2 hours ago and this was supposed to be tea time).... - Creste Di Gallo - Bucatini Carbonara - Olive Crusted Mahi Mahi - Wild Watercress and Kale Soup Bali is one of the best places to have seafood, so the Mahi Mahi is a must for me. Both kinds of pasta were excellent. Wish the yummmmmmmilicious cocktails can come freeflow. But the dish of the trip would have to be Wild Watercress and Kale soup. It's one refreshing soup i wish i can have every day. It reminded me a lot of the Hakka Ground Tea. There are places that i will just come once...and there are those that i can rely on. Definitely happy to Grow my 'can-count-on' list knowing that when all else fails, i can head to their rooftop and drink my sunset away.

Chill yet classy restaurant
Went there to try out their new menu. The restaurant menu has creative and unique name. All dishes are carefully created using high quality of spices. The starter, Chilled Spagethoni Pasta and main dishes Pork Belly with spinach are worth trying! The service was great. At last, you can still chill out with friends yet get the classy ambience while having your dinner. It was fantastic! Highly recommended!
