A wonderful place in Amed for truly fresh and tasty food. Loads of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available on a surprisingly wide and original menu. Very relaxed and chilled atmosphere, right on the beach. Lots of freshly squeezed juice options and the raw vegan chocolate tart is out of this world. The restaurant is inside the Apneista Freediving School, so very convenient for after a dive (or preparing for one!). I even did take-aways for dinner! Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is my third visit to Amed and the Green Leaf is my regular lunch and afternoon hangout. Due to being coeliac it doesn’t take long for nasi goreng to wear a bit thin. Green Leaf food and service has been consistently high over the past three years in a friendly and relaxed environment. They have gluten free burritos, Spanish potato omelette and chocolate cake available, along with other gluten free dishes like nachos. You maybe the only person there or find yourself with other travellers and young families. If you go for a swim out front, there are baskets you can leave your belongings in and an outdoor shower for a quick rinse off before taking a beanbag cushion and enjoying the surroundings, there are books available to read while there. They thanked me for returning; ladies I thank you for the delightful times.

They serve very very healthy food. I like their variety of detox juices and tried one of them, didn’t disappoint. This place is right inside Apneista freediving school so it is easy access to lunch or power drinks after your dive sessions.
