Great setting unfortunately food does not match
Staying just up the road so this seemed like an easy option for dinner. The write up about Ubud Green raised my expectations and for once I disregarded the reviews of on TripAdvisor (I usually base travel decisions on overall reviews on TripAdvisor). It is a great setting and staff were friendly but the food just did not live up to expectations.

Very very Disappointing
We were staying up the road, and decided to try it for dinner one night. Wish I hadn’t, have had better food from a kaki Lima (food cart) in a kampung in the out of the way remote areas of Indonesia, my girlfriend had the garlic prawns all you could taste was the hot Chilli that over powered everything else, my bebek goreng the duck was over cooked and the bean salad, well let’s just say I thought I was eating a chilli salad. I like my chilli but I know Indonesians that would say that was too much chilli, what’s the point of providing a cocktail list if the only alcoholic drink available is arak. My rating of 1 is for the lovely view they have, otherwise it would have been 0. Tip to the owners - you are obviously trying to market yourself to westerners, perhaps hold back on the chilli a little.

Would not go out of my way to go there
This restaurant is attached to Ubud Green Villas. It has a gorgeous it look over the greenery covered villas and rice paddies. The food was very average. Very little options for vegetarians. I ordered spring rolls and they were served undercooked. The Breakfast menu is quite large but the food lacks flavour and is very mediocre. The kitchen is tiny which I'm sure doesn't help staff to prepare and cook food.
