Shhh! Cipete's best kept secret
I have been sadly remiss and late about writing what is a well deserved glowing review. I'm half joking when I admit I have been conflicted as I love Epilogue and have not wanted our secret date night place to become overcrowded once others discover what fabulous food they serve. Such a scrumptious combination of French with a nod to Indonesian heritage. Now that I've moved to Kuala Lumpur and no longer have the opportunity to savor and enjoy the delights cooked up in the Epilogue kitchen, I miss this gem and am very pleased to point others this way. If you are looking for a quiet, delightful relaxed elegance atmosphere with utterly delicious food and attentive service you will be more than satisfied Try our favorites: the onion soup (divine), the Moroccan Lamb shank (completely out of this world) and the lava cake dessert. The mushroom soup, duck confit and fois gras deserve special mention as well. Call ahead to make sure the lamb shank is fresh and tender and if you are short on time, order the molten lava cake early in the meal so it can be at is warm, delightful chocolate best when you are ready for dessert. A great place to savor a glass of wine or a bottle with a special person or special friends.

Cold steak and long waiting time
Ordered a tenderloin steak, took more than an hour to come out, then it was cold. Before i asked the waiter where the food was, twice. It seems the steak was cooked and lay around for a long time before it being serve. The meat was a bit chewy, looks it was glued together too, and it was so oily, oily steak!? Also the waiter is not on the floor all the time, i think you can just walk right out after your meal, for free

5 star dinner at sensible prices...
We have eaten at Epilogue on several occasions and never been disappointed, so when choosing a venue for my wife's birthday this year, it was top of mind. We chose a 5 course tasting menu, suggested by Ibu Sandra, soup/salad/fish/main/dessert and each course was superb. They have a no corkage policy which is extremely rare and meant we could bring some decent wine and not get stung any more than already happens here in ID for alcohol. Superb evening and very good value. Sandra is now experimenting with a pop-up model so that's another option for the future. In short, thoroughly recommended if you are a fan of French/Asian/fusion.
