Should have had anything steak!
I do not know what we were thinking but it was about to rain really hard so we tucked into this restaurant. I had the fish which was way overdone and my husband had the duck. Both were lousy. We made a mistake we should’ve had any of the steak dishes. It looked delicious

Lovely and really nice food, sick of warungs and noodles try this.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food, I had Chinesse stir fried Prawn in ginger sauce which came with lovely fresh perfectly cooked white rice and the sauce was really delicious, my husband had a Spaghetti with squid and he loved it albeit the squid was battered and came like calamari it would be better if they cut and cooked it without the batter. We then decided on a desert, I had deep fried ice cream and it was delicious it was laying on top of a layer of orange segments, definitely have this, Norm had a chocolate mouse and it was fab. The service was fantastic, we had Ilio serving us and she was so. Nice and helpful. Prices are more than the local warungs but you’d expect that in a restaurant, yes I’d put this on your list to do.

A little pricey.
We were staying pretty much next door to El Toro and didn't want to venture far one night so decided to give it a go. It was okay! Not bad, but perhaps not quite worth the money. We didn't want to eat a lot red meat, which I presume is their speciality, so I ordered the prawn and avocado starter and a chicken caesar salad and my fiancé opted for the roasted baby chicken. The cranberry juice I tried was from a carton but was priced at fresh juice prices, which always irritates me. The beer seemed reasonably priced. We asked for all of the food to arrive together, which it didn't. It wasn't so much of an issue that my salads arrived first but again, slightly annoying. The prawn and avocado salad was small and didn't look anything like the picture on the menu (small cubes of avocado in a cocktail glass as opposed to large slices on a plate as advertised) but it tasted okay. The four prawns on top seemed to have been frozen to me and had no flavour so I left them. The chicken caesar salad was better and I enjoyed the large pieces of garlic ciabatta scattered throughout the dish, as well as the generous serving of bacon. The roasted chicken across the table went down well too, although the bite I had was very spicy so just be aware of that! We didn't have any particular complaints about this place but nor was it good enough to warrant a return visit.
