Damn fine noodle & gyoza
Right in the middle of block M, sits Echigoya. From the bustling streets you open the doors to find a noodle making machine and the Japanese style noodle bar. The machine is a sign they make there noodles from scratch a sure sign of freshness and the willingness to make great ramen. This doubles down for their gyoza making as well.. freshness is key for both these famed dishes world wide, and where people make the mistake of imitation. Echigoya make great gyoza, crispy on the outside, with the centre exploding with flavour.. top choice.. I had the tonkatsu ramen, a little disappointed in the broth, a little weak in flavour and texture, not quite the thick broth, and the meat portion a little small.. However the freshness and texture of the homemade noodle bolstered the point thy are trying.. I even saw the owner test the noodles and bring his chef over to taste and see if it met the criteria.. this is good!! We also had the tori karaage, more batter than actual chicken, and the yakiniku salad. average but we still ate it all.. I will be back..

Such a big portion of ramen
How I love this place. First, they will greet you if you come in and they serve you lot of good ramen. My favorite is shoyu ramen. Whatta authentic ramen in Jakarta!

Noodle in this restaurant is made on the spot, you can see the noodle making because they display the process in front of restaurant. Chicken gyoza is good but if they have pork gyoza, i will love it
