Good coffee priced fairly @ Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park
We stopped at the Domba Coffee located at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. It was a pretty hot and muggy day so we ducked in here to get a cold drink and reprieve from the humidity. Staff was polite and quick to take and make our drinks. Both iced coffees were good and pricing very fair. As we were leaving, we couldn't help but notice that all three employees were hunched over fidgeting with their smartphones. They did stop briefly to thank us for the business though.

Coffee house and factory
This place was recommended to us by our driver, and what an experience. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome by the staff and were guided through the factory and had the coffee process explained to us and then we went into a tasting room to taste the variety of coffee, then the sales area with coffee, tea samples packed and sealed, so no problem through customs on returning home. The other items for purchase were excellent as well, picked up a few nik-naks for home.. A great experience friendly staff and well worth a visit..

Great coffee, but I class this place as a tourist trap
Both me and my girlfriend are coffee lovers and whenever we are on holiday we try to seek out great cafes, shops and tours. This is an impressive operation. Sourcing there beans ethically and processing them with quality results in mind. Unfortunately this place is a bit of a trap for coffee lover like myself, after a very very brief walk through of the facilities with a loose description of process and no real attention to the finer details. You will be whisked into a tasting room, along with the entrance this coffee is free. It's brewed with a V60, and was very tasty. Though before you get an opportunity to finish your small sample, the selling pitch starts. This "make you feel awkward" strategy is common for many coffee attractions in Bali. Since the quality and ethics were evident I purchased some beans, but they were majorly overpriced. Domba also sells wild Luwak coffee, but the price was insanely high, over 5 times more expensive then certified wild luwak brands in the nearby Carrefour supermarket. At the end you will be guided through a massive and pricy gift shop. Which just sums up the "In, quick sale and out" experience. If you know your stuff you definitely won't learn anything new.
