Fresh food, great service, the perfect place to have your meal and chill with Middle Eastern cuisine.
Been there twice back in 2014, service was fantastic, food was fresh, tastes great, and level of hygiene is superb! I will return to patronise them again and again!

Excellent Lebanese Cafe in Kemang
Having lived in the Middle East and Rusholme (Manchester) I am a big fan of Lebanese food. I was in Kemang one afternoon shopping and going to the bank and came across Diritina. Let me first of all say its small, a café moreso than a restaurant and has no alcohol licence (not even beer, although the fab EcoBar is just behind); oh and no toilets (although there are some in the c store next door). There is a somewhat open area and an enclosed air conditioned area. Based on all this I wasn't expecting much. We arrived just before 12:00 and it was empty, the waitress seemed concerned that a bule had entered and asked an English speaking waitress to take our order, even though I would have managed in Bahasa. We waited over 30 minutes for our meal, I joked that at least it would be fresh. But it really was wonderfully so. I ordered zatar, one of my favourites, alas it was more like a pizza with thyme and other zatar herbs. I also ordered shish kebab (I think it was spelt shash kebab) which was extremely good, my partner ordered mixed Shawarma (called Mix Meal). I suspect that being early the Shawarma grill hadn't been turned on so it was unavailable so she settled on steak. My shish kebabs were very good, not the best I've had but very good, but the steak was absolutely wonderful. I suspect it was not the best cut of steak, but cut thin and marinaded (with plenty of garlic) it really was perfect. Both came with chips, salad and bread. We also ordered Ayran and Iced Lemon Tea, both perfect. It was about to rain so I left without trying a shisha, or Arab Coffee, but am willing to believe that both would be great. Its a long way from the best Lebanese food I've ever had (see my review of Mezza House in Cardiff) and not the best Arab food in Jakarta, but I really really recommend this place. The bill Rp.450.000 so great value for Kemang, where I rarely manage to spend less than Rp.1.000.000. I normally like to grumble about Kemang, too crowded, too nouveau riche, too expensive, but Diritina has converted me, I will certainly be back.
