Good food and location, overpriced
There's a lovely selection of high-quality foods with subtle and fine flavours. However, not all dishes feel like 'fine dining' as advertised; some dishes look like a mess or lack outstanding, intriguing or explosive flavours. There's plenty of choice for alcoholic beverages, for soft drinks not so much. All of them are overpriced. Since the advertised prices are subject to a high 21% in taxes, get ready for a price you would also pay back home in the West. Especially for Balinese/Ubud prices, this restaurant is overpriced. The location, however, makes up for part of it, with a secluded feel in the middle of the rainforest, with beautiful views into the valleys.

romantic and delicious dinner
I had the ribeye steak and he had the crispy pork belly. We shared the beef rendang appy and a chocolate lava cake. EVERYTHING was divine! Our server was very attentive and the timing in between courses was perfect. Loved the playlist they had on along with the candlelit tables!

We ate here during our stay in Ubud. The food was really nice, nicely decorated, good flavoured and exactly the right spiciness. We ordered the meat - medium cooked. We got a well done steak. We told the waiter and he immediately got another steak which was medium cooked. For the restaurant: I believe that in restaurants like this (fine dinning), the chef MUST had checked the steak before serving. Besides this, the food was amazing! We had an Italian wine - primitivo. We always drink Italian wines and i believe we are experienced in wine tasting. The primitivo we've got, was one of the nicest primitivo's we have tasted. Service is very good - waiters are nice and kind. The decoration was also very nice. Be prepared - this is fine dining. We paid 1,6 million RIP for only 2 persons - which is EUR 100, and for Bali standards very high - but it was all worth it!!! We will come back for sure.
