Friendly owner but poor food and service
This family managed restaurant is owned by a German. Expecting some authentic German food we went there one evening for dinner. We were disappointed. The food tasted more a Balinese version of German food . The restaurant was empty when we entered the place. We ordered and we could see the entire family cooking our meal. They took a long time getting the food ready while we waited patiently. The owner came over and we chatted for some time and finally when the food was served it was far from what we had expected. They also got our order mixed up but that was a minor issue that we could have over looked if the food has tasted German. This may not the best place to have German food in Singaraja

If you are desperate for German food
This place is just ok. Just off the main road in a hotel. Very quiet with only us and a German family there. Kartoffelpuffers were oily and limp but edible, the schnitzel was very thin and a bit dry and nuremberger sausages were average at best. Served with a small side salad and some nice mash, the food was ordinary. No sauerkraut, no mustard. Hmmm what would they say in Bavaria? Staff were nice but wouldn't go back. Prices were reasonable.
