Interesting food, nice ambience, worth coming here
This restaurant lies in a popular part of Jakarta with many restaurants. We were there on a Monday evening and pretty much all tables were occupied. That already says something. The open kitchen in the middle if the restaurant is clean and very well managed. The food is southern sumatran and very tasty. Together with friendly and efficient staff and reasonable prices it is no wonder it was so busy, even on a Monday night!

Indonesian cooking at its most refined
You won’t find this meal in any other restaurants. The vegetable dish Daun Rusip Muda is so smartly assembled that you get a fresh burst of sour, salty and spicy flavours in your mouth. The Nasi Goreng Kambing is also beautifully cooked, there is a different layers of sambal to enjoy. Coffee is from Javanegra.

Spicy and good
With an open kitchen in the center of the restaurant we are able to see how the food is prepared. A lovely restaurant with a bar at the end. Food is spicy and delicious and they have a sambal menu for all the sambal lovers. Dishes are large and generous and meant to be shared. Not for the faint hearted. Best to come with a crowd so you can order more dishes.
