We ordered everything that says Recommended and it did not dissapoint us
My experience having lunch here was excellent. We wanted to try if a 5-star hotel has 5-star restaurant as well.. we came on weekdays and only around 3 tables were dining at that time for lunch. Note that the restaurant is meant also for breakfast, so it is spacious. I think we're planning on having christmas dinner here with 20 of my friends since it's so spacious and elegant. We saw the menu and there are menus with stars and it says recommendation by chef, so we just ordered most of them: Tagliatelle with beef ragout, Wasabi Prawns, and Wagyu Rib-Eye Steak. 10 minutes later, food started coming out one by one, the Caesar Salad was first, it is huge! The greens were really fresh and the chicken bites were tender. Topped with grated cheese. YUM! 8/10! After that the Tagliatelle with beef ragout. Yes it tasted like traditional Italian dish, not so strong flavor from the pasta but full flavor of herbs and when you bite them together with the soft, tender beef ragout, everything melts and blends very well together. Wagyu Rib-Eye Steak came last. People say the best come last, right? Damn they're right. I think they planned the timing very well, which one goes out first and which one's last. Steak is definitely great for last. Wagyu Steak was so tender and marinated well. Juicy and fresh! Too bad we were already so full so we did not order dessert, ah no problem we'll definitely come back soon!

Variety of Buffet Breakfast
Damai Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seatings where there are variety of buffet breakfast. If you want to enjoy the scenic view, choose the outdoor seating so that you could also feel the fresh air temperature in the morning. If the weather is clear do not miss to take picture of the mountain and the blue sky..and the green hills of course! My favourite is the chicken rice porridge and beef sausages! The healthy juices at the bar section are a must try! The staffs are friendly and responsive to top the glass water up, to offer tea or coffee or to clear up our empty plates. The salad is also my favourite! Try the vegetarian selections on the next morning and you won't be sorry of it. I don't remember the music background at the restaurant is the Sundanese music or not...as I was too deep enjoying my first meal.
