Unfortunately I got food poisoning at this restaurant. I’ve had and self-cooked okonomiyaki for 20 years and never had issue. I don’t know how cabbage, egg, and cooked pork can give you food poisoning but I was infected here. I also just had soy beans and salt. Vegetables are meant to even be eaten raw. Only poor hygiene from your staff or selling old rotten food can account. In the restaurant I had already started to feel bad. I came home at around 9:30 PM and slept until 1230 when I woke up to the next three hours of diarrhea, and at 3:30 in the morning vomiting for about 15 minutes. That continued diarrhea until about 5 o’clock in the morning. Now I’m Just exhausted. Perhaps they are using dirty well water to clean the vegetables or the eggs are old or the brown sauce was old. The small amount of pork that was cooked completely prior to mixing definitely wasn’t the cause. I sent an email to them and they read it but no reply. Not very nice.

Lovely freshly cooked food
Have been here 4 times and always enjoy the fresh food and watching the chefs cook our food. Portions are quite large so ordering a starter and main is a bit risky but taking the extra home is a good option. The pork and egg noodle dish is my favourite and the omelette dishes huge. Service is good and the menu extensive and descriptive.

Lovely Japanese food
This is a nice little Japanese restaurant with very friendly and happy staff. We walked in and were greeted with a cheer by the kitchen staff. First off, this isn't a typical sushi place. It's more of a teppanyaki type restaurant with little grill on each table to keep food warm. There's a wide selection of appetisers available both hot and cold and of course a wide array of main course selections including fish, seafood and meat of all kinds. I honestly don't remember all of what we ate here, but it was all good. Garlic rice was a standout as were tempura king prawns. While we were eating, the second 2018 Lombok earthquake struck, and even though we were in Bali we felt it rocking the restaurant fairly severely. Everyone ran out into the street until the quake subsided, so perhaps that's why I don't remember the details of what we had to eat! Anyway - it was all very good. The only possible let down was the vegetable tempura that my wife ordered, and that was because it seemed to feature aubergine heavily and she doesn't like that very much. I would go here again and hope for no earthquakes this time!
