Where's the sauce?
We have been in Indonesia for over 3 weeks and eating local dishes mostly. Ordered 2 bottles of water, 2 Bingtan, Nasi Goreng. and beef rendang. Opened beer and mine was totally flat. Probably opened in error and cap replaced. Waitress replaced beer with apology. When the food arrived the was a lot of space on the plate. Tiny portions and the Rendang was simply small pieces of cooked meat arranged into separate bite size pieces on to the plate, devoid of any sauce. It looked a right dogs dinner. Sent it back and declined to order any more food. Partners local dishes she described as not freshly cooked but reheated. At the time we were there there was a cooking class being taken in the restaurant. Oh the irony. Whose in charge in the kitchen? Nice helpful staff, worst meal of the trip by some distance.

Highly underseasoned. Long wait times.
The four of us arrived at around 9PM for dinner. The waitress was more than helpful and was sweet throughout service. She even apologized for long wait times. Unfortunately that’s all we could say that was good about the restaurant: the patient, attentive waitresses. Cons: 1. Flavorless. The duck was absolutely flavorless, as well as the Sate Lilit and Nasi Goreng. One would expect Indonesian cuisine to be spicy, but as an Indonesian, I would not recommend any other Indonesian give this restaurant patronage. The sambal was dull with no heat at all. It seems they took out all the seeds from the chili peppers, which is probably why it took so long to get food out. I had to salt and pepper my duck because it had no taste. Adding a lot of dull sambal and kecap manis barely saved the meal. 2. Food took forever to get out. We waited nearly an hour for food to arrive, which is unfortunate because it was not really full by the time we placed our orders. Overall, come if you would like flavorless food (makanan hambar) more suitable to sensitive palates.

Tasty food but slow service
Visited this restaurant for dinner. The ambience is good with retro decor. The food was tasty but the service was extremely slow. When served, we were surprised with the portion size and had to order more which again took a lot of time. Overall, you can visit this restaurant if you have lot of time at hand.
