Yummy Indonesian Food
My friend recommended me this restaurant for Indonesian Food. I went there for their Happy Hours dishes. Happy hour starts from 2-5pm and the food is sold at 27500Rupiah which is around USD2.75 There are 6 set menu to choose from, as there were only 2 of us, we ordered Makmur 4 and Makmur 6. Makmur 4 consist of baked rice (ala Fried rice with anchovies), fried chicken, tempe (fried soya bean), sambal (mixture of chilli and spices paste) and keropok (shrimp crackers) - this is probably the best tempe I've ever had, it's fresh and nicely fried. - the sambal is out of this world, the spiciness is just right!! Makmur 6 consist of rice, fish soup, fried tofu, sambal and shrimp crackers the fish soup is also one of the nicest I've ever had, there's no fishy smell at all, it's a bit spicy, they added chilli and small green tomatoes to the soup it's a pity I only went there once, I would definitely return if I have the chance to revisit Jakarta.
