Absolutely awful - stay away
Note: My review is only for their restaurant - not for the hotel. The restaurant is called Blue Terrace, and is perfect proof that location by itself is not adequate for a place. I have been to Uluwatu before and always chose other dining options which resonate the spirit of Uluwatu & its surfing culture. However, this time a friend who was driving ahead got lured by Blue Point's choice parking location and promise of great views from the restaurant. But the first red flag was when they had to pay "entrance fees" at the gate to even visit the restaurant - 100K per person which can be used for the food bill. However the moment we went it, we realised our error. The menu was very sub standard with almost no vegetarian options. The viewing gallery was fully enclosed in glass and accompanied by loud music. We decided promptly to leave, but that's when the problem started. The entrance team refused to refund any money claiming the fee was to enter the property. We had to spend some time arguing before they returned a part of the 400K we had paid. A terrible experience, and a waste of time before we went down to the other F&B options with great unending vista's of Uluwatu, and the sound of the waves and ocean breeze. We certainly shoulder some of the blame - in this time and age, any place without a TA review should not even be considered. They have conveniently skirted this by not listing the Blue Terrace restaurant at all.

Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions over the past few years. Enjoying the views, drinks and food. However on our last visit we had to wait way too long for drinks and even when the food arrived it was very disappointing. Not sure what has happened but you need to pick your act up. We took family their as a treat and it was embarrasing to have them wait so long after ordering, in the end we were just glad to pay and leave. Not a lasting impression.
