This place is the biggest tourist trap, steer clear would be my advice. Yes the location is great and the sunset view is amazing but the menu is way too pricey. We paid $100 for 2 drinks, 2 plates of chips, 1kg of calamari that looked more like 250g when served and was cold and rubbery, and 6 king prawns! Much better food elsewhere, try a warung on the beach for better value.

Over priced and Underwhelmed
I'm not one to bag out restaurants but for Blue Marlin I'll make an acception.. 6 king prawns for $50 Au is over the top but they did taste good... however that's where the good stops.. $25 Au for plate of Calamari that was over cooked and like chewing a rubber band... Picked my "fresh" whole squid but get the feeling it may have found it's way back into the fresh bucket and was served something else... all up $90 for dinner (inc plate of chips and two drinks) makes an over priced sunset on the beach.. Compared to Jack fish in Sanur this place doesn't even come close.. Lift the quality and offer better price..

You're paying to eat on the beach.
The food was good, but the portions were a bit on the small size. The service was good. Now as this was the only meal we ate on the beach in Bali we enjoyed the ambiance. But without the lovely beach, and sunset, it was very average.
