Different Concept, Different Atmosphere.
Last time we came here was 3 years ago. We came here to have the chef table as our experience was amazing. However when we arrived i was a bit confused for a second if this was the restaurant that we visited 3 years ago. Then the manager informed us that the chef table was temporarily closed for a renovation. He said when it’s opened we will know. The new concept is more elegant and sophisticated fine dining. We were treated with various complimentary aperitif and cocktails before we started to choose from the menu. They were beautiful treats to be honest made us feel confident to go with the full course. The mini taco was clearly our favorite and the pickles with their local vinegar hmm... we couldn’t have enough. It took 4 hours for us to go through the overall experience but of course we have anticipated this and we think the current menu portions were bigger than last time, we left the restaurant with full loaded and happy tummy. Ps: if you want to try the full course you must come here with empty tummy. Maybe we suggest you to skip your lunch.

Making a reservation at Blanco was one of the best decisions I made for my one week Bali trip! I went with my mom, my best friend and my mom’s friend. And we all really enjoy the beautifully presented and extremely delicious dishes from the 7-course tasting menu! The service was impeccable as well. The most impressive part was when the chef came to prepare and explain the delicate desserts! I highly recommend paying a visit there, but make sure you l leave enough time for this amazing meal!

When we made the reservation i told them we had something to celebrate. When we arrived my girlfriend was given a bouquet of flowers and we got a handwritten card to congratulate us. We chose the 7 course menu because we werent able to control ourselves at noon with balinese tapas. We got a glas of sparkling wine and 5 little 'snacks'. After that we got an amuse bouche and some yummy bread. We chose a cocktail and felt like they both let down a bit compared to all the rest. Every single one of the 7 dishes didnt let down. After the dessert we were given some dessert 'snacks' and a piece of cake to congratulate us again. Cake was very good. The price can be compared to eating in a one star michelin Restaurant in belgium (except for wine prices). For us it was worth it. We had an amazing experience in the Restaurant and want to thank them again for the way they treated us.
